What to say, what to say...

Well, I haven't been online in far too long. There's that. Call it a mental-emotional breakdown if you like. That pretty much covers it.

I... have... so many things to upload here... let's just see if I follow through and bother to do that once I've caught up with all these awaiting deviations and messages to check up on.
- and yes. That's right. I'm planning to catch up on all of these messages. O_x

Yes. So. Just a quick new journal for now. I'll probably come through and do one of those journal challenges that I've left waiting here after a while...

..eh... just out of curiosity... is anybody reading this right now? Just a thought.

Just writing because I haven't done in a while and.... quite frankly I was getting tired of looking at the old Journal.... which... ended on what reads a bit like an Emo cliff hanger, as a matter of fact.

I don't feel like elaborating on that week, though, as I suggested I would... perhaps some other time. I'm just trying to retain the positivity I've amounted in the last week meanwhile.


In the realm of sad news— I'm concerned for a friend of mine, who hasn't contacted me in a while... I hadn't been a very good friend to her in a while, but that doesn't mean I don't miss her. It's not my place to go into specifics, but if you're a praying person, I'd appreciate anyone who feels like giving her mention, just in hopes that she is happy, protected, and doing well.
For those of you that don't pray... light a candle, perhaps. I know she'd see significance in that.


For positivity's sake: I've not really been updating like crazy, which suits me just fine... but I could do with a bit more Wacom practice than I've been getting. I've been thinking about taking up a challenge of some kind... 100 portraits, maybe... or one of the many versions of the 100 themes challenge, if I can find one to my liking... if anyone has some suggestions on where to look for that, hey. Let me know.

Haven't managed to do half of the things I'd wanted to today, and I've got the feeling that I'm disappointing a lot of people...

... but I've hit a wall. I've posted the deviation request that Arn made of me, that's my last act for the evening.
As I said.

Exhausted.

Bad week.

Ahh, so it's been a while...

So there's been a bit of an explosion of Harry Potter Fanart in my gallery, now that the series has come to an end. Strangely enough, that's just the beginning—I have tens upon tens of Potter-related-pictures drawn (many of them scanned, awaiting clean-up) and several more planned...

Meaning, of course, that the troublesome HellScan Scanner has been fixed! Or had been, rather. We managed to replace the shot-out power cord long enough to get a few descent scanning jobs in before the damn thing decided to start it's spazzing all over again. So while we've rescued it from it's malicious attempted suicide, it now compensates by adding freaky coloured lines across anything and everything passed through it.

Ah, well. There are always the scanners on campus.
